Laura Loriga is a singer and pianist born in Bologna who has developed her work over the past ten years between Italy and the United States.
\nHer writing is based on piano, organ, and voice, and is often enriched by other electric and acoustic elements (including nyckelharpa, viola, harmonium, and double bass).
\nThe result is a series of varied compositions, whose roots belong to both folk and classical tradition as well as experimentation.<\/p>\n

With her main project, Mimes of Wine, she has released three albums (Apocalypse sets in - Midfinger Records\/Warner Chappell, 2009, Memories for the Unseen - Urtovox Records, 2012 and La Maison Verte - Urtovox Records (ITA)\/ Accidental Muzik (US), 2016), performing with her band in numerous concerts including Blue Bird Festival (Vienna), Culture Collide Festival (Los Angeles), and Klang Festival (Marche).<\/p>\n

Currently, Laura has just released her fourth album (her first under her own name), produced in New York between 2019 and 2020, which saw the precious collaboration of members of Mimes of Wine and other musicians including Josh Werner, Otto Hauser, Anni Rossi, and Janis Brenner. The album is titled Vever and was released by Ears&Eyes Records (US\/Argentina).<\/p>\n

In addition to Mimes of Wine, Laura has collaborated with various other artists including Giardini di Mir\u00f2 and singer-songwriter Jaye Bartell. In recent years, she has also contributed to the writing of several soundtracks, including Shelter, Farewell to Heaven, and Lucus a Lucendo (both by Caucaso Factory). Moreover, Laura has been continuing her collaboration with composer Leo Z (Los Angeles), with whom she has created a series of works including a soundtracking for painter Nicola Verlato at Toronto White Night (2016), and a collaboration with producer Adam Moseley and Accidental Entertainment (Los Angeles).<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n
